Seattle, Washington - This five-story headquarters building on Lake Union houses corporate offices has a roof top terrace with sweeping views of downtown Seattle. With an eye to both function and location, we created a design that blends the local maritime spirit with the energy of an emerging high-tech district. Challenges included overlapping shoreline and height restrictions, a triangular site, and a steep, wet hillside. Among our solutions: Three separate garage entries and lobbies on two different floors, all adding up to one innovative, award-winning building. |
