Beijing, China – Located in the heart of the transport hub of China, this office and retail mixed-use project stands nine stories tall with a building area of 215,000 square feet and exudes a graceful elegance and unified design appeal. The building has been strategically designed to maximize corner office opportunities and accentuate deluxe glass box boardrooms to allow for sweeping views of Beijing. The rear of the building peels down, revealing green terraced areas carefully designed to serve office tenants with secluded break-out areas. In addition, attractive ground-level retail space connects the surrounding community to an exciting array of shopping opportunities. Sustainable building technologies include low-E insulated glass to save on energy costs as well as a rainwater collection and recycling feature to combat the arid environment characteristic to the region. Pools of water surround the ninth-story executive boardroom to give a tranquil zen-like ambience, and at night the boardroom illuminates to create a beacon atop of the building, giving the project a destination appeal. |
