Seattle, Washington - Converting one large space into two stores showcasing two disparate brands isn’t easy, but that’s exactly what we did in a former department store at this aging mall. Designing and building simultaneously, we worked closely with housewares retailer Bed, Bath and Beyond and shoe-seller DSW to ensure that our design was relevant to both brands, yet still functioned inside Northgate’s older building. The result? Retail space with more traffic than it’s had in years, and an example of how legacy spaces can be reborn. |
